Craig Davenport has been participating in triathlons for over 10 years as a self-confessed average age grouper. Undertaking mainly standard and middle-distance triathlon and aquabike events across Australia has led to Craig being selected as a member of the Australian Team for the 2024 World Triathlon Multisport Championships in Townsville and 2025 World Triathlon Age Group Triathlon World Championships in Wollongong.
After a career in environmental management, Craig turned his skills in communication and critical analysis to bike fitting under the guidance and training from Sunshine Coast based Michael Baker of Custom Bike Fit. The training built on Craig’s interest in cycling and triathlon and how a Custom Bike Fit had helped Craig towards his goals. Since opening Custom Bike Fit Rockhampton in 2024, Craig has been able to work with beginner to experienced cyclists and triathletes. Through Custom Bike Fit Rockhampton, Craig’s goal is to assist cyclists and triathletes of all abilities to get closer to their goals.
